Officers from the Mount Vernon Police Department confirmed that a man wearing a sweatshirt robbed PCSB Bank on East First Street at approximately 1 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, allegedly handing a note over demanding the money, stating he had a weapon, according to multiple reports.
The man proceeded to flee with an undisclosed amount of cash. According to a report, the suspect was a black male who was wearing a hoodie at the time of the alleged robbery.
